To take advantage of the potential of the Moto Buds 2 Plus, you’ll need to modify its software to match your listening preferences. I adjusted this setting on the Moto Buds 2 Plus and it improved everything from sound and call quality to multi-device connections. Here’s how you can do it too.
Enable High Resolution Audio Mode
Bluetooth is often the bottleneck in audio quality for wireless headphones and earbuds. Still, there are ways to improve wireless sound quality within the limitations of Bluetooth. By activating the high-resolution audio mode of the Moto Buds 2 Plus, you can enjoy the maximum 24-bit/96 kHz quality offered by the LHDC codec. To do this, open the motorcycle shoots app, tap Soundand then press the button next to High resolution mode. However, it does not turn on automatically; you must turn it on every time you want to use it.
To find it, open the motorcycle shoots app and tap Sound. Then switch the switch to the side of Game mode to the on position. Please remember that this low latency audio mode automatically turns off when your headphones are disconnected from your device. Also, you can’t use high-resolution audio and game mode simultaneously. It’s one or the other.
Play with the equalizer to customize your sound
There is one more configuration in the Sound Moto Buds 2 Plus settings page worth paying attention to: the equalizer. Motorola offers a customizable 10-band equalizer that allows you to adjust the sound of your headphones to your liking. If you like bass more, go for it. The switch for this one is right on the home page of the Moto Buds app and turning it on enables AI-powered noise cancellation for your calls. Amplifies your voice while blocking unwanted environmental sounds, such as wind. If you make calls in noisy environments, this setting is for you.
Share your audio with dual connection
