Baseus PicoGo Air is incredibly thin and my favorite battery for Pixel 10

Baseus has officially launched its new PicoGo Air magnetic power bank. It’s ridiculously thin and happens to fit the Pixel 10 like a glove. Here’s how to save over 30% on one.

I have covered a couple of Baseus power banks in 9to5Google during the past year, including one that was quite thin without compromise on the AM52. That’s still my top recommendation for most people, as the 10,000mAh capacity and optional built-in cable offer the best. in general experience.

But I really wanted something a little thinner and easier to wear.

That’s where the new PicoGo Air really got me.

Baseus shipped one of the first units a few weeks ago and it’s been a staple in my daily carry ever since simply because it fits everywhere. The slim 5000mAh battery is just under 7mm thick, making it thinner than the actual Pixel 10 I’ve connected it to. It’s about twice as thick as the camera bar bump, and even when the phone doesn’t have a case, it doesn’t spill over the edges like many other options do. This was designed around the iPhone Air, of course, but it’s perfect for Pixel 10 owners.

Notably, this is not a Qi2 power bank like the other option I mentioned above. It complies with the standard, but is not fully compatible with Qi 2.2. As such, charging on the Pixel 10 Pro XL is limited to 22.5W. I’m guessing this has something to do with how Baseus squeezed everything into such a slim form factor, but it doesn’t have much bearing on everyday use.

That does What affects daily use is the design, but in a good way. It has some clever little ridges on the backplate that help with heat control. Like any Qi power bank, it gets hot, but noticeably less.

There is a built-in NFC tag here that launched the Baseus app. Holding the phone in that area displays information including the specific battery percentage and battery status. The percentage is the only thing I find worthwhile, and I’m not sure it’s worth having the app installed full time. Although, at least it’s a good idea.

Really, the strong point for me here is the size. It’s crazy to think that a 5,000 mAh external battery can be this thin, and it’s a plus that it fits the Pixel 10 so perfectly.

The Baseus PicoGo Air is now available on Amazon and you can use the code EHYGXRMR at checkout to save on your order; the price went up about $40~ when we tried it.
