Apple just hosted its September event, announcing the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, Apple Watch Series 10, Airpods 4and more. But there was one surprise new product from Beats that wasn’t mentioned at the keynote: iPhone 16 cases.
These Beats brand cases are designed to protect your precious new device, naturally. They have a “hard polycarbonate” back, which is essentially durable plastic that will probably survive a decent drop. The real kicker, though? They support Camera Control, which is a big plus.
Of course, Apple didn’t forget about MagSafe – these cases are fully equipped with that too. Plus, Apple wants you to know that they are “precision engineered” for the iPhone 16. Therefore, they should hug your phone like a second skin, caressing its buttons and edges with great care.

If you feel like picking up a bit, you have four color combinations to choose from: midnight black, summit stone, blue tideand Purple Sunset. At $49 each (that’s about £39 or €46), they’re in line with Apple’s other offerings, but with that Beats flavor. If you’re quick on the draw, you might even have one in hand as early as Wednesday.
What else is new from Apple?
He iPhone 16 The launch event saw many announcements from Apple. There’s a new camera control on the new iPhones, providing better access for taking photos and videos. Screens across the line are better than ever and more durable. Apple is showing a love for new colors this year, with plenty of options to choose from.
Apple Watch Series 10 It was a big update, with a bigger screen than ever. The body is the thinnest it’s ever been, things are faster inside, and it moves the antennas to the back of the case. Apple Watch Ultra 2 has a new color option, and a third-generation Apple Watch SE never materialized.
AirPods also saw big changes. Airpods 4 get active noise cancellation and launch an even cheaper $129 model without ANC. The AirPods Max receive a minor update with USB-C and new colors, while the AirPods Pro 2 got a third version with new hearing technology added.
