You probably already know whether Charlie is guilty or not, and that’s not the point of this story. The good nurse He’s more interested in system failures and how a dangerous employee can move from one hospital to another. I don’t think any differently than nurses, who are heroes, but it makes me question the corporate side of healthcare and how patient satisfaction isn’t always the priority.

I like how this movie doesn’t try to create a hero, just have one. They are bad people who try to justify their immoral actions. That’s an interesting dynamic that challenges my beliefs. Game on.

No, Gordon Gekko. Greed is not good. At least that’s one of the messages in I care a lot, a black comedy written and directed by J. Blakeson. Rosamund Pike really knows how to play a psychopath. Marla is an evil person. The scammer manipulates the legal system to become a guardian for the elderly. He then seizes your assets and sells them for a profit. Maybe “evil” isn’t a bad enough word for Marla. Anyway, Marla uses her plan against Jennifer Peterson (Dianne Wiest), a rich woman with no relatives. At least that’s what Marla thought. It turns out that Jennifer is related to crime lord Roman Lunyov (Peter Dinklage), who will do whatever it takes to right this wrong. Instead of playing ball, Marla fights back and sets off a disastrous chain of events.
I care a lot He clearly has a lot to say about capitalism and the treatment of the elderly in this country. It’s true that the ending bothered me a lot. Did I not like it or did my hatred for Marla cloud my judgment? I’m still not sure. What I do know is that Marla annoyed me, a credit to Pike and his evil performance.
