- The Galaxy S26 FE has reportedly appeared on a Geekbench listing with Samsung’s Exynos 2500 SoC.
- It was claimed that the device achieved 2,426 in its single-core test and 8,004 in the multi-core part.
- Other alleged rumors claim that it could feature the same 6.7-inch, 4900 mAh screen as its S25 FE version.
Now that we’ve got the flagship S26 series out of the way, rumors move on to Samsung’s next FE.
Typically a few steps below the base S-series model, a post by SamMobileafter detecting a geek bank listed, alleges its performance. First, the post highlights some rumors, claiming that the Galaxy S26 FE could feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Internally, the Geekbench listing suggests that the phone could be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset, not its latest 2600. That’s not too far out of the ordinary, as the S25 FE also features a one-year-old Exynos chip (2400).
There is a possibility that this could be fine, as SamMobile claims that the Galaxy S26 FE’s performance reportedly increased by eight percent in the multi-core test and ~15% for its single core. The numbers show that the S26 FE achieved a score of 2,426 for its single core and 8,004 for its multi-core. These tests were carried out with the budget model presented A user interface 9 (Android 17) and 8GB of RAM.

The FE ’26

On the one hand, maybe seeing the Exynos 2500 rumor for the Galaxy S26 FE is a good thing. when he S25 FE launchedfeatured the Exynos 2400, but also the S24 FE. This chip is based on Samsung’s 4nm process. The company has since moved to its 2nm process for Exynos 2600 chip. This remains speculation; however, it would have been nice to see rumors about the 2600 for the S26 FE. The chip features a significant 39% increase in CPU capabilities over the 2500, with stronger AI performance and double the GPU output.
Following these early rumors, the S26 FE is rumored to have the same triple camera array as its predecessor. The screen and battery also have the same numbers as last year. So perhaps consumers are expecting other improvements, probably more on the software side. The Galaxy S25 FE wasn’t released until September, so we’re still almost half a year away from seeing this year’s version.
Android Central’s opinion
Samsung tried to incorporate flagship-quality features with its Galaxy S25 FE that helped make the budget-oriented phone feel a little stronger. Seven years of security and operating system updates were also promised, which has lately become Samsung’s norm. Considering that rumors at the moment suggest a very similar phone in terms of hardware, perhaps there is more of that on the table. Also, I should mention that phone prices are increasing due to RAM, so its price will be another aspect to consider. The S25 FE debuted at $649.
