In the latest report of Mr. Rebswhich has recently published a series of reports on Halo: Campaign Evolved and is considered a fairly reliable source, has now detailed new information. about the game’s customization system and more.
After Halo Studios confirmed that the game will not have a storeFollowing concerns surrounding the Master Chief’s skin revealed through the partnership with Fanta, we now have a clearer idea of how deep customization can go, along with a hint at how far along development is currently.
New report outlines armor, weapon customization and more
According to Rebs, Master Chief will have an appearance system that will allow players to customize their appearance, with armor sets based on his Mark V armor, but reshaped and redesigned to look different.

We already have confirmation of armor designs through the Fanta partnership revealed for Xbox’s 25th anniversary but Rebs now also claims that the game will also include weapon skins.
Fortunately, the game will not include a store. This suggests, or at least raises the possibility, that these cosmetics are unlocked through gameplay (or so I hope!), whether by completing the game on Legendary, earning Commendations, or through other promotions.
Mr Rebs also reviews his previous report on Halo: Campaign Evolved reusing Halo Infinite assets. One of its sources claims that while this is true, some assets are changing subtly.
