NVIDIA announced in January 2025 that it would bring GeForce Now to India. While it indicated at the time that the cloud gaming service would be available in the country later in 2025, that did not materialize and after several delays, NVIDIA confirmed that GeForce Now would be available in the country by the end of the first quarter of 2026.
Fortunately, the wait is over. NVIDIA has confirmed that GeForce Now will be available in India starting this week, on April 16. The only caveat is that the service will be in beta, with those registered on NVIDIA India’s GeForce Now microsite gaining access before anyone else. If you signed up any time in the last year, you should receive an email similar to the one I just received:

Other than that, the service itself will be identical to what’s available in other regions like the US and UK, with NVIDIA running its own servers in the country. While I didn’t get pricing details at the moment, I’ll have more information on this later in the week when the service officially goes live in the country.

To remember, GeForce Now is a cloud gaming service that allows you to play your own games on virtually any device. All you need to do is link your stores, be it Steam, Xbox, Epic Games, GOG, Ubisoft, etc., and you’ll be able to stream games in a web browser, while the heavy lifting is done in the cloud. NVIDIA is bringing Blackwell-powered RTX 5080 servers to India, with 4K at 120fps possible on the Ultimate tier. There is also a free tier and you have the Performance tier which serves as a middle ground.
The only unknown right now is the price, but with GeForce Now set to launch in India in just two days, there won’t be a long wait to find out how much the cloud gaming service will cost in the country. As someone who has waited quite a while to use GeForce Now in India, I am excited for NVIDIA to finally launch it in the region.
