Streaming services have come full circle: They will operate more like cable TV in 2026 than we would like to accept. With content spread across a large number of streaming services, you’ll likely need to subscribe to more than one each month. If you’re a die-hard fan of movies and TV shows, you can easily rack up a handful of expensive subscriptions. Isn’t there a better way?
There certainly is, and cable television gives us the model. Instead of subscribing to each streaming service individually, some allow you to purchase multiple platforms with a single (and low) monthly price. Disney popularized this concept with the Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN bundle, but others are taking shape. It’s kind of a win-win scenario for both subscribers and streaming services. Smart shoppers can get more content for less, and streamers can upsell shoppers on platforms they may not have subscribed to individually.

Breaking down the price compared to the individual subscription, you’ll save $10 each month. Peacock Premium Plus costs $16.99 per month on its own, almost the price of the full package. Apple TV also costs $12.99 per month. So, you can subscribe to Peacock Premium Plus and add Apple TV for an extra $3, which is very attractive.
Apple TV offers stellar quality, but it lacks the rich back catalog of legacy streamers, and that’s not such a big problem when you add it to Peacock Premium Plus for a few extra dollars each month.
How this package compares to other streaming combos

Streaming packages are not new territory for Apple TV or Peacock. The two streaming services can be combined for only $14.99 per month – that’s $5 cheaper than Amazon’s offer. However, there is a key explanation for the price difference.
The standard Apple TV and Peacock bundle offers Peacock-level access with ads. This is called Peacock Premium and, in addition to including ads, it omits additional features like downloads. If you bundle Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus (the ad-free tier) together, you’ll end up paying the same $19.99 price as Amazon’s bundle.
It is important to note that purchasing the package through Amazon is only available to Prime Video subscribers. It’s true that many of us already subscribe to Prime for another benefit. That said, if you don’t already have Prime, it makes more sense to subscribe to the Apple TV and Peacock bundle outside of Amazon.
Do streaming packages allow you to save more or spend more?

So is it a good deal? Yes, it is, if you are a Prime subscriber and want to watch content from Apple TV and Peacock. Adding additional streaming services for a marginal monthly cost only benefits you if you really value content. Otherwise, you’ll end up paying for over-the-top subscriptions that you never use.
For example, I’m about to cancel my Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited package because the college basketball season is over and I don’t watch enough Disney or ESPN to justify the extra fee all year long.
If you’ve been intrigued by Peacock Premium Plus or Apple TV and want to try them together, this is certainly a great way to do it while saving $10 a month and watching absolutely no ads.

Packages galore
Most of us already pay for Amazon Prime and the Prime Video subscription service is an added benefit. It doesn’t have the largest catalog, but Prime Video allows you to combine with streamers like Peacock and Apple TV to get even more out of your subscription.
