A bug in the current Gemini app is responsible for the rollback of several recent features.

Meanwhile, the “temporary talk“The button has disappeared from the top right corner next to your avatar. In the profile menu, “Import memory to Gemini”has disappeared.

Gemini.google.com It is unaffected today and provides a good mobile and progressive web app experience if you need any of those features.

In terms of other interface tweaks, the black background has been reverted to gray and, as a result, the suggested action pills lose their outline.

Outside of the Gemini app, the Android overlay reverted to the previous layout without full access to the Tools menu. The full screen brightness is also gone, and only the overlay is highlighted.

This is a bug that occurred to Android users in the stable and beta channels with Google app 17.14 within the last day. Hopefully, Google will release a server-side solution to restore those lost features before long.
