This $10 accessory has completely transformed my Pixel 10

Recently, I bought something that I didn’t expect to like as much and it has become my favorite Pixel 10 accessory.

My wife uses PopSockets with her phone and I was surprised at how comfortable it was to hold my Pixel 10 Pro when I tested its magnetic PopSocket. However, I didn’t like how bulky it was. It felt huge in my pocket and I didn’t like that style either. When going to Amazon to find something that best suited my needs, I found the “Magnetic Phone Ring Holder”by Bordšek.

The first thing I love about the ring is that when folded against the phone, it’s barely thicker than the Pixel’s camera bar. It doesn’t make the phone wobble on a desk, nor do I feel it when I have my Pixel in my pocket.

By rotating the ring, it serves its main purpose well: I can hold my 10 Pro in one hand without worrying about it falling. The magnetic connection is strong and the rubber surface has not scratched my phone even though I often rotate the ring to reposition it. Repositioning the ring is something I do regularly, thanks to the other function it provides.

This phone ringer is the most convenient phone holder I have ever used. I’ve had cases with built-in stands, but they’re never adjustable enough and often only hold the phone horizontally, not vertically. The ring, which has two hinges that have no play, makes it easy to hold my Pixel at any angle or orientation I want. I can’t overstate how sturdy these hinges are; Even my Z Fold 7, in its dbrand Grip, can be held, folded or unfolded.

Keeping my phone vertical when I’m at my desk listening to music or horizontal when watching YouTube, this ring has replaced the dedicated phone stands I have in my house. The smallest segment of the ring, the part you run your finger through, is magnetic and has enough weight to hold even a phone in position with everything extended.

I’m spending this week on the south west coast of the UK and the ring has come in handy here too. With the wind disappointingly strong, trying to keep my phone steady while taking photos, especially telephoto shots, would have been difficult if I hadn’t been able to stabilize it with the ring. I haven’t had a chance to test it yet, but I hope to use it to prop up the Pixel 10 Pro for long exposure and astrophotography before returning home from the trip.
