Along with the phone holder, the Basegrip will also work with the company’s upcoming Steam Controller dock. This stand not only holds the controller for display, but also allows you to keep it charged. The dock is expected to be available in June, but you can register to join the waitlist.
As mentioned above, Basegrip for Steam Controller will be released next Monday. When it does, it will be available on the Mechanism’s website for $9. However, if you have a 3D printer, you can download the files to create your own Basegrip and “Simplified Dock” for free. Meanwhile, the phone stand costs $25 and there’s no price yet for the base.
