The first version candidate for iOS 26.5 is now available for iPhone. After several beta builds, this will likely be the version of iOS 26.5 that reaches customers in a few days.

Today’s iOS 26.5 release will likely arrive about a week before the official release of the iPhone software update.
Looking ahead, we’re just a month away from the next major update, iOS 27, which should be available as a developer beta. starting June 8. That’s when Apple kicks off its WWDC 2026 week. iOS 27 will likely enter public beta in July and be released to everyone in September.
