My new favorite AI-powered app hosts 70+ AI chatbots with ease

Generative AI is everywhere, whether it is used as the cornerstone of a service, to create applications, or to improve functionality within them. But with so many new products coming out all the time, which ones are worth trying?

What I really appreciate about AI Hub is its focus on privacy. Yes, chatbots aren’t exactly synonymous with discretion, but the app really tries to highlight the shortcomings of various bots. It will highlight which services are completely free, freemium or paid, and which are safe for private use using the “Privacy Friendly” and “Privacy Focused” descriptors. This is incredibly important given that many of these services will be quite obscure to those new to chatbots beyond ChatGPT.

Best of all, AI Hub blocks trackers and ads as widely as possible and offers to ban third-party cookies. Some services just don’t work well when disabled, but I love that the developer gives users the option.

While I certainly wouldn’t recommend AI Hub as the main portal for specific chatbots for those who have accounts with them (you’ll probably be much better off installing those individual apps), it’s perfect for everyone else. Users who just want a wide spectrum of options without having to clumsily navigate through a web browser or install those apps will find AI Hub extremely useful and convenient.

I really love the idea of ​​Yaps. It is an Android keyboard app that focuses on processing confusing and messy dictations into clean and neat text. All data is processed on the device, a good security measure given the potentially sensitive nature of personal texts and dictations.

During my testing, I found that it works much, much faster than Gboard’s dictation, which often mishears me or doesn’t take into account the context of my answers. Yaps is doing very well in this regard.

The app also tracks dictation statistics, including how much theoretical time I’ve saved by using the app instead of typing, and how many words the app has processed. It currently supports five languages, namely English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese, and allows users to quickly switch between them from the keyboard itself.

Yaps is free for the first week or 1,000 words processed, after which you’ll need to pay for access via a weekly ($4.99) or annual ($144.99) subscription. It’s certainly expensive, but given its fancy transcription capabilities, it may be worth it for those who simply hate typing.
