TL;DR
- Google will soon bring its AI Studio to mobile phones.
- The application will allow users to create, iterate, test and publish applications directly from their smartphones.
- You can pre-register right now on Android, with pre-orders coming soon on iOS as well.
App development has very quickly moved from a manual task performed in Android Studio to dynamic coding and AI-assisted development workflows. You may have already tried your luck at Vibration encoding XR experiences or create Android apps using Google AI Studio, and the company wants to make the process even more accessible on the go.
The official Google user AI Studio announced in a post on X that AI Studio will also be coming to mobile phones soon.

With AI Studio on mobile, creators and developers can create, iterate, and test new ideas at any time, right from their smartphones. It eliminates the requirement of having a laptop with you and makes it easy to develop applications on the go.
The mobile app will also include the remix feature, which is already available in AI Studio on desktop. It will allow users to duplicate an existing app idea and modify or extend it for personalization.
On mobile devices, the app is intended to be a full complement to Google AI Studio. It is quite possible that there are some features that do not make it to the mobile app. However, it will include everything you may need to quickly prototype, build, and even publish your apps right from your smartphone.
Users will also be able to start projects within the mobile app and continue working on them on the desktop, giving them the flexibility to work from anywhere and pick up where they left off on any device.
The application is now available to pre-register in the game store. It will also be available for iPhone. However, pre-orders on the App Store are not yet open and the website simply displays a “coming soon” message.
