
Apple TV subscribers can now watch One-way propeller night busa film that not only marks the directorial debut of John Travolta, but was adapted by the actor from a children’s novel he wrote in 1997. Watch the trailer below.
Travolta’s directorial debut debuts on Apple TV
by John Travolta One-way propeller night bus is now available to stream on Apple TV.
The film is based on a children’s novel of the same name that he wrote in 1997 and stars Clark Shotwell, Kelly Eviston-Quinnett, Ella Bleu Travolta and Olga Hoffmann. Juan Travolta (pulp fiction, Face/Off) is also credited as a narrator.
The film premiered at the 79th Cannes Film Festival earlier this month, where Travolta also received a surprise honorary Palme d’Or for his lifetime achievement in film.
Here’s the movie’s plot, according to Apple TV:
Set in the golden age of aviation, a young airplane enthusiast, Jeff (played by newcomer Clark Shotwell), and his mother (Kelly Eviston-Quinnett) embark on a one-way cross-country odyssey to Hollywood, which transforms a simple flight into the trip of a lifetime. Between airplane meals, charming flight attendants (played by Ella Bleu Travolta and Olga Hoffmann), unexpected stopovers, giant passengers and an exciting vision of first class, the journey unfolds in magical and unexpected moments, charting the course of the boy’s future.
