Gemini App Adds New Google Contacts Integration

The Gemini app’s latest integration is with Google Contacts to provide “personalized information and responses based on your contacts.”

Available in Personal Intelligence > Connected Appsallows Gemini to “find, add, edit, or delete” people you have in Google Contacts and “contact information from your signed-in devices.” You can specifically:

• Add new contacts, or delete or modify your contacts
• Find contacts by name, number, or email in your Google Contacts or on your device
• Get specific answers based on your contacts
• Customize responses and suggestions based on your contacts when you consult them
• Remind you of important dates you have saved in your contacts, such as birthdays
• Share your contacts with other apps or other contacts when you request
• Suggest information to save to your contacts
• Suggest contacts to contact or add as VIP
