Instagram now lets you rearrange your Photos grid

Instagram is rolling out one of its most requested features: the ability to manually reorder posts in your profile grid. Here’s how to do it.

Grid reorganization and finally deployment

Last March, Instagram added a long-requested option that allows users to reorder images and videos in a carousel after publishing them.

Now, the app is extending that control to the profile itself, with a new option that allows users to manually reorder posts in their grid.

The feature, which has been in testing for a while, allows users to tap any photo in the grid on their profile and select “Reorder Grid.”

That opens a new window where users can freely drag and rearrange their photos in any order they want.

Once they’re done, they can simply tap the back chevron in the top left corner and the changes will be applied to their actual profile.

Instagram thread account saying The feature is “available starting this week,” meaning not all users may have access to it yet.

Still, for users who have been asking for this type of control for a long time, it seems that the wait is almost over.
