TL;DR
- Facebook will get an AI mode to improve search and browsing.
- Reels sharing suggestions are updated with collage cutout templates.
- Meta also features AI photo presets that let you customize your hair, clothing, and accessories.
Like most other tech companies these days, Meta has been increasingly incorporating AI into many of its products. The latest example of this will be the launch of three new AI-powered features on Facebook. These features aim to improve search and bring more creative tools to the social experience.

The first of these features takes a page out of the Google Search playbook. Goal announced Today Facebook will get an AI mode. This new mode will answer any questions you have. It will also show insights based on what people say publicly in Meta apps like Groups and Reels.

The second new feature coming is collage cutout templates and transition effects. This is an update to the Reels sharing tips that Meta introduced late last year. As the company explains, these tools will allow you to “produce fluid and stylized video montages.” Meta notes that this is a voluntary-only feature and can be disabled at any time.

The final part of this release features new photo presets. With these presets, you’ll be able to use AI to change your clothes, hair, and accessories. All you’ll have to do is tap the “AI Edit” icon in stories and select “Use it.” You can also go to your profile photo and tap “Restyle” to do the same.
