
Grace Gummer (The newsroom) has teamed up with Dakota Fanning (All your fault) in an untitled thriller series created by Alex Cary. Here are the details.
Mystery project adds Grace Gummer
As reported by DeadlineGrace Gummer, who is the daughter of Meryl Streep (The mail) has joined an upcoming untitled Apple TV thriller series, where she will star alongside Dakota Fanning. The show’s confirmed cast so far also includes Stellan Skarsgård (Dune), and Daryl McCormack (tornadoes).
Interestingly, Fanning will co-produce the series alongside her sister, Elle Fanning, who recently starred in the first season of Margo has money problemsalso on Apple TV. Other co-producers include Brittany Kahan Ward (the big one), Julie Gardner (lady in the lake), and Kari Skogland (Smoke), which he will also direct.
According Apple TV“Fanning will play an undercover Treasury agent at a multibillion-dollar international conglomerate with world-changing political and criminal tentacles, who conflicts between her mission and the belief that her primary target, the heir apparent to all that corrupt power, is essentially a good man and worthy of her love.”
Deadline says “Gummer will play the series regular role of Juliana, the eldest daughter of Stellan Skarsgård’s Brant, who runs the conglomerate.”
This untitled thriller series is the latest collaboration between Apple TV and Sony Pictures Television, following For all humanity, star city, black bird, The after party, Platonic, For manyand dark matter.
No additional cast members or premiere date have been announced, although the series title is expected to be revealed soon.
Apple TV is available for $12.99 per month and hosts hit television shows and movies such as Rupture, The study, The morning program, Contraction and Silo.
