Today (June 18), Ultrahuman announced what’s next for its health platform, and it’s all about redefining what metabolic health really means for users.
In a press release, Ultrahuman shared insights into M2 Live: a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) from Abbott’s Lingo. This integration brings Abbott’s over-the-counter monitor to more people through M2 Live in the US. Subscription for this starts at $99 per month and consumers will also not need a prescription. CGM is nothing new for Ultrahuman’s platform; however, where M2 Live is taking us it is said to “become one of the most affordable wearable metabolic health platforms in the US.”
M2 Live will feed your insights directly into the Ultrahuman app’s metabolic health engine. This will include your sleep, stress, activity, and recovery to help understand how your body regulates your glucose. Ultrahuman is combining its health markers and blood biomarkers to help users understand why their glucose might be rising.
What’s more, Abbott’s Lingo data is said to highlight the entire situation for users. This data will bring a history of five years of research, partnerships with health institutions and millions of registered meals.
Behind the scenes, Ultrahuman says its AI assistant, Jade, will use your biointelligence to connect your changing glucose patterns (if any) with your recorded sleep, HRV, and more. your smart ring. Your metabolic score, which ranges from 0 to 100, reflects your glucose regulation. Since food can affect this, the app will offer a “Food Score.”
It is through this that Ultrahuman says it can show users how certain foods they have consumed affect their glucose. The “Fuel Score” focuses more on your fitness/training and shows how your levels could affect your activity.

Something like this would probably get the attention of those who really need it and who should take this type of management seriously. From my point of view, I think this could really help people who have to watch their glucose more seriously than others. I have family that needs to pay attention to these types of things. Of course, they have their own management styles, as this has been going on for years. Either way, glucose spikes can be dangerous and it looks like Ultrahuman wants to try to help.
