With less than a month to go, Samsung is kicking off its series of Galaxy Z Fold 8 teasers with a new series of social posts that also deleted almost the company’s entire Instagram account.
This afternoon, Samsung deleted almost its entire Instagram account. @SamsungMobile (and @SamsungMobileUSA), leaving only six places behind. Those posts explain the “New shape, new joy” teaser that refers to the short, beefy, and wider form factor of the Galaxy Z Fold 8.
If you didn’t know about the Fold 8 redesign, these posts would be pretty cryptic, but they all simply show Samsung cutting off the top of the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s shape, leaving behind the new Fold 8 form factor. Earlier today, leaks showed that new form factor alongside the “Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra” (which confusingly sticks with the old design).
There’s no explicit mention of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 in those three teasers, but Samsung teases a “sweet new way” that “(cuts) to what matters” and “It feels good.” Two others make fun “a completely new portion” and “A sweet revelation.”

There is only one publication that In fact tells anyone what’s going on.
There, Samsung shows a palette of purple, pink and gold tones. all rumored appear in one form or another on the Galaxy Z Fold 8; Before moving on to what we’ve already seen, there’s a Galaxy Z Fold 8 wallpaper, with the “8” in full screen.

It’s certainly different from previous years, where Samsung would simply release an Unpacked teaser, but that’s a bit exciting, right?
No clues as to when the new device will come out, but past leaks I suggest July 22 as the date.
