Apple plans to launch standalone Siri app and Apple Business app this year


Apple It is expected to launch two new iPhone apps in 2026. The first is a standalone Apple Business appwhich will be released on April 14. The second is a dedicated Siri app with chatbot features, arriving later this year alongside iOS 27. Both apps will also be available on iPad and Mac.

Apple Business app replaces three existing tools

The Apple Business app combines three existing platforms: Apple Business Essentials, Apple Business Manager and Apple Business Connect. Employees working with the Apple Business platform will be able to install work apps, view contact information for colleagues, and request IT support, all from a single app.

Apple has confirmed the release date as April 14. The application requires iOS 26iPadOS 26, and macOS 26.

Standalone Siri app with Chatbot functionality planned for 2026

Apple has not officially announced it a Siri app. Recent reports suggest that the company is testing a standalone version of Siri that allows users to interact via text and voice, with access to a history of previous conversations. The functionality is said to be similar to ChatGPT by OpenAI and Google’s Gemini app.

The app is expected to require iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27, indicating that it could launch later in 2026 alongside Apple’s next major software update cycle. Apple has not confirmed the app’s existence, features, or release date.
