The Apple Store dropped ahead of iPhone 16 pre-orders, which begin at 5 a.m. PDT on Friday.
Apple presented its new best iPhones earlier this week. As usual, there is a one-week pre-order window before the phones go on sale next Friday. With demand expected to be as high as most other years, customers who want to get their iPhone on day one should pre-order as soon as the website is back online to get a chance.
The 8am ET launch time, or 1pm in the UK, will also apply to carriers who want to tie their iPhones to their contracts.
iPhone 16 pre-orders, but that’s not all
Today’s launch will also mark the start of pre-orders for the new Apple Apple Watch Series 10 and AirPods 4. The first is a larger Apple Watch with a more advanced display, faster charging, and more. The AirPods 4 echo the design of Apple’s popular in-ear headphones and, for the first time, bring noise cancellation to the masses without a rubber tip.
On Friday we will also see pre-orders for the new Apple Watch Ultra 2 color, but there are no other changes to speak of.
He iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro offers a significant update to the internal processor of both models thanks to the A18 line. There are also major camera improvements, including a new 48MP ultra-wide lens and a new touch-based point-and-shoot camera control button.
