First Pixel 11 Pro XL details Google’s next big phone

With April here, this summer’s upcoming smartphone releases feel closer than ever and we’re already thinking about which models we’ll obsess over the most. Easily one of the highlights of each year is Google’s latest generation of Pixel phones, and if the company follows recent tradition, we’ll likely see them debut in August. So far this week, we’ve been able to get a glimpse of what we can expect, first through the release of some CAD renderings of Pixel 11followed by a set showing the Pixel 11 Pro. Today we continue this path to its next logical destination, with the release of some lovely new renders of the Pixel 11 Pro XL.

Just in time, Android Headlines is back with its Pixel 11 Pro XL renders. Like the rest we’ve seen, these are what we call “CAD renderings.” Rather than the kind of official, professional renderings of a device that a manufacturer might produce for its marketing materials, the actual images here are from third parties, but have been produced based on detailed measurements of the phone’s hardware. If all that data is good, CAD renderings should be fairly accurate in terms of shape and size, although specific details and style often involve guesswork.

Once again, the biggest external change we’re seeing is this new monochrome look for the phone’s camera bar, doing away with the two-tone oval. And just as we saw with previous versions of the Pixel 11 Pro, this phone also seems to be abandoning its infrared thermometer.

At least, that’s definitely what’s shown here, although we’re curious where that information comes from, since these details seem like the kind of design elements we wouldn’t necessarily expect a specific CAD render to do well. However, while there are some questions about specific colors, the source behind these renders seems reasonably certain.

The Pixel 11 Pro XL will reportedly measure 162.7 x 76.5 x 8.5mm, which, like the dimensions we just heard for the Pixel 11 Pro, is slightly smaller than last year’s model, but probably not enough to notice. Fittingly, Google is expected to keep the same 6.8-inch AMOLED display we’ve had.

Beyond that, however, we’re not learning many new things about the hardware today. TO G6 tensioner chip It’s basically a lockdown, and while there’s the usual amount of uncertainty around RAM and storage that everyone seems to be going through in 2026, there’s no evidence of any major shake-ups here.

In all likelihood, we’re just a few more months away from the Pixel 11 series becoming official, and Google is likely targeting another August launch.
