Google has begun to be implemented AI Inbox for Gmail to Google AI Ultra Subscribers in the United States. The feature brings Gemini directly into your inbox to highlight priority emails, mark upcoming deadlines, and flag messages from frequent contacts. It was initially tested with a limited group of users before this broader release to paying subscribers.
Ultra AI Costs $250 per month. AI Inbox is currently only available for that tier in the US. Google has not announced when or if the feature will be available for lower tier plans.
What Gmail’s new AI inbox does
AI Inbox introduces a new space within Gmail that provides personalized information based on the contents of your inbox. Google explains that the feature automatically highlights emails related to upcoming bills, appointments, and messages from contacts you contact frequently.
These items are separate from the normal inbox and are displayed as priority items. The feature does not replace the existing Gmail design, but overlays a Gemini-powered layer for qualified plan users.
How much does AI Inbox cost and where is it available?
Google AI Ultra costs around $250 a month. The plan includes access to AI Inbox, higher Gemini usage limits, and Google’s most advanced Gemini models. Also offers 30TB Shared cloud storage between Drive and Photos, YouTube Premium and Google Home Premium Advanced. He $20 per month The Google AI Pro plan currently does not include AI Inbox. Google hasn’t announced when the feature might be available to AI Pro subscribers or free Gmail users, but access is expected to expand over time.
AI Inbox is now launching for AI Ultra subscribers in the United States. Google has not announced a rollout schedule for other regions or for users with lower subscription levels.
