Siri will work with more AI chatbot apps via extension

iPhone, iPad and Mac will support the new feature
The new system will be present in iOS 27, iPadOS 27 and macOS 27. Gurman includes a fragment of text from a test version of one of the operating systems in his report:
“Extensions allow installed app agents to work with Siri, the Siri app, and other features on your devices,” according to a message within test versions of the upcoming operating systems. Users will be directed to a new App Store section from this menu to add additional AI services.
AI chatbot apps will need to be updated to take advantage of the new Siri integration in iOS 27 after the new system is announced.
