Microsoft has confirmed plans to roll out a series of updates to windows 11 focused on system performance, reliability and user experience. These updates will be rolled out in preview over the next few months.

Microsoft is altering the way Windows Update handles reboots, with the goal of consolidating reboots into a single monthly reboot. Users will have the ability to pause updates for any period of time and will be able to power off or restart their device without having to first install pending updates.
