Although it hasn’t always remained in Microsoft’s gaming subscription service. Microsoft recently announced the news. that GTA 5 will no longer be available with Game Pass on April 15 while details April’s additions to the program.and that news has undoubtedly disappointed many.

Naturally, it’s always disappointing to see extremely popular and community-driven titles like GTA 5 go away. Xbox Game Pass. But for it to do so now is bad timing, especially given that its long-awaited sequel GTA 6 There are only a few months left until its long-awaited launch.
It’s no exaggeration to say that GTA 6 could very well be one of the biggest game launches of all time when it comes out on November 19 later this year, and is expected to have an extremely explosive and successful launch. Yeah Red Dead Redemption 2 What it shows is that Rockstar’s worlds are incredibly rich, immersive and engaging to play in, and GTA 6 promises everything people loved about its predecessor with greater scale and ambition.
Without a doubt, the excitement for the game will lead countless players to return to GTA 5 or play it for the first time while they wait for GTA 6, and it’s a shame they can no longer do so with Game Pass. Maybe one day it will return to service like it has in the past, but I wouldn’t expect that to happen until after the sequel is released.
However, a big silver lining is that, as with all Xbox Game Pass titles coming out, GTA 5 is available to purchase permanently on Xbox or in the Xbox app on PC at a massive 50% discount. So, from now until April 15, you can take advantage of the last few days of the game on Game Pass and then choose to purchase it for $19.99 on Xbox instead of its usual price of $39.99.

While this isn’t the first time GTA 5 has left Xbox Game Pass after being on the service for a while, it’s notable that it’s now doing so ahead of the release of GTA 6, as many expected the game to remain in the Game Pass library permanently after the sequel arrives.
