Reduced season finale this week
You’d be wrong if you thought last week’s episode of Shrinking was the season finale…although you wouldn’t be alone in that mistake. It was the tenth episode of the season, so I assumed it was the end, as did many people on social media.
Fortunately, that is not the case.
Shrinking season three It was initially supposed to be twelve episodes. The episode count was reduced to eleven in favor of the season debut being a special “double” episode.
So the eleventh and final episode of Shrinking’s third season is coming to Apple TV on Tuesday night.

According to Lawrence, the end of Shrinking’s third season will mark “the end of this story.” Looking ahead to the fourth season, he says we can expect a “new story” and a new chapter to begin.
“The end of season 3 and the end of this story next week! Thanks for watching if you saw it,” Lawrence wrote. “I’m very grateful to be able to make a new story starting next season.”
It’s no surprise that the fourth season of Shrinking will focus on a new story. Lorenzo previously explained that the show was conceived as a three-season arc. The first season was about grief, the second season was about forgiveness, and the third season was about moving on.
