
Adobe’s Premiere app is finally headed to Android, and Google is providing a slightly more specific timeline compared to what Adobe previously left us with.
Widely Used Video Editing App Adobe Premiere Announced for iPhone last yearwith a Later update providing support for some custom YouTube Shorts integrations. When it debuted, it was iOS-only and remains that way today.
Adobe only saying that Premiere for Android was “in development” last year, with nothing more to add.
Google now says Adobe Premiere for Android is coming “soon” alongside the announcement of native tools in Android 17 aimed at content creation.
Google says:
The Adobe Premiere app is coming to Android soon. With Premiere, you’ll have access to exclusive templates and effects to create and publish YouTube shorts from within the app, helping you stand out in your feed.
An earlier copy of this provided to press said it would arrive “this summer,” but Google changed it for public release. In any case, it seems that Premiere’s debut could be just around the corner. Since Premiere Rush was discontinuedthat’s great news. In iOSAdobe Premiere has a 4.8 star rating and is advertised as an “AI video editor.”
