If you haven’t been able to use Apple Cash in the past few hours, you’re not alone, as the service is currently experiencing an outage affecting some users in the US. Here are the details.
Apple Cash suffered two outages
apple System status the page says apple cash has been experiencing an ongoing issue since 6:11 p.m. ET, with “some affected users” who “may not be able to make purchases” using the service.
Interestingly, a second recent issue is listed as resolved and lasted only 15 minutes from 7:45 pm ET to 8:00 pm ET. The issue description also says that “some users were affected,” but mentions more broadly that “some users were unable to use Apple Cash,” rather than being unable to make purchases.
A quick search on X shows that several users report that they have been affected by the issue.
Meanwhile, Apple Cash outage reports on DownDetector appear to be trending downwards, which could be related to the separate issue that Apple has already marked as resolved.
