Apple Watch campaign highlights life-changing experiences
Apple and TBWAMedia Arts Lab – China They have launched a campaign with stories of three apple watch users who were saved by the device’s emergency functions.
A new message appears on Apple’s Chinese website “Fortunately, I was wearing it.” section features quotes from three apple watch users, Me Junyan, Chen Huimin and Yang Xiao, who share their stories about fall detection, accident detection and heart rate alerts.
TBWA says the “Luckily, I Was Using It” campaign is named after “a pop-up phrase used organically by apple watch users themselves” after emergencies or health-related problems. (I can relate.)
Additionally, the campaign includes a special episode of the podcast “你,静不下来” (loosely translated as “You Can’t Sit”) hosted by Li Jing, “one of China’s most trusted interviewers and a apple watch user”, according to TBWA.
In the hour-long episode, the three users share their stories, including a life-saving emergency call after a serious car accident in which the user was knocked unconscious.
If you speak Chinese and would like to watch or listen to the full episode, follow this link. Otherwise, you can watch subtitled segments of the interview on TBWA. website.
