What kind of headphones can you get for under $100? We’ve normalized spending hundreds on over-ear headphones, but CMF and Nothing make you think twice if it’s worth paying that much for a new pair of cans. I tested the CMF Headphone Proa pair of over-ear ANC headphones that are just $99 at full price. Despite coming from much more expensive headphones, I switched to the CMF Headphone Pro without problems.
They are arguably the best headphones you can get for under $100. During the last minutes of Amazon’s big spring saleyou can save another $32 on the already affordable headphones. That brings the cost of a pair of CMF Headphone Pro headphones to just $67, and you’ll be surprised how much you get for that price.
✅ Recommended if: you want cheap ANC headphones with solid build quality; you value battery life above almost everything else; requires high-resolution LDAC support and a multi-band equalizer.
❌ Skip this offer if: you want the best sound quality; needs better transparency mode performance.
The design of the CMF Headphone Pro may seem original, but they are incredibly light and flexible. They will adapt to any head shape with comfortable, modular pads. The controls on the headphones are stellar, with two buttons, a slider, and a roller. The headphones support an equalizer, but in a rare move, you can adjust the intensity of the equalizer. directly on the CMF Headphone Pro using the built-in slider.
These headphones also offer a USB-C port for charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity. Sound quality is provided by 40mm drivers equipped with nickel-plated diaphragms. On the technical side, there is a 16.5mm copper voice coil, precision bass duct and dual-chamber design inside the CMF Headphone Pro to ensure the audio sounds rich and clear.
If you need high-resolution audio, CMF Headphone Pro uses the optional LDAC codec up to 990 kbps over Bluetooth. Battery life lasts up to 100 hours with ANC on and half that with ANC off.
I’m an audiophile so I see the value in pay for more expensive options like the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Gen 2 headphones. However, if you only need the basics, you won’t find more for less than the CMF Headphone Pro.
