Did we just see even more images of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and Deadpool?

Marvel Studios and Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con They go together like Reed and Sue. It’s just a perfect marriage. So when the company decided to release the first teaser for its only release this year, Avengers: Judgment Day, five days BEFORE the Room H panelWe all think the same. What the hell? Could Marvel have more beyond? that?

Well, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, along with the film’s directors Joe and Anthony Russo, not only brought together nearly two dozen cast members, but they played some exclusive footage from the film for fans in attendance. Before that, however, there was also a cameo from a person who sounded like Ryan Reynolds, in a gray, almost denim, Deadpool suit, who joked about wanting to be in the movie. The Russos said the film had already been filmed but they were open to additional photography. Was that a confirmation that Deadpool is in Doomsday? We think so.

As for the footage, it begins with a scene of Doctor Doom, in disguise, sitting on a golden throne. The ground pulses with green energy. “Victor was always the smartest guy in every room,” says Sue Storm. “He used to be different. Then everything he loved was taken away from him.” It’s in front of the painting on the teaser poster. “I knew I was lost, but I didn’t realize I was broken.” We see that she is giving this speech to, well, almost all of the heroes, standing in a room.

Then we fly over what looks like a completely destroyed city. Reed Richards asks, in an almost horrified tone, “Victor. Did you do this?” We see shots of several characters, including Magneto crying, Charles Xavier, Steve Rogers with a baby, and others. “You have all lived historic lives,” Victor says. “And now you must return them.”

We see Victor jump off a building and fly to the ground, making the superhero landing. Thor is there and leaps towards Doom, swinging Stormbreaker. “I swear you’ll beg for hell when I’m done with you,” he says. Victor stops him with a finger. Thor keeps pushing and pushing, but nothing happens. Then Victor hits him back with green energy. “Hell answers to me,” Victor says as he lifts a group of Sentinels from the ground around him.
