Discord has introduced Nitro Rewardsa new benefits program that includes Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition, hardware discounts, and an expanded Orbs system for the existing Nitro subscription. According to Discord, the price of the Nitro subscription remains unchanged despite these additional benefits.
The launch will take place gradually over the next few weeks in regions where it is available. Existing Nitro subscribers will be able to see the new benefits in the Nitro Home section once they log in to their accounts. Some rewards may vary based on regional availability and eligibility criteria.
Xbox Game Pass Starter comes to Discord Nitro
The major addition is Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition, now included with Discord Nitro at no additional cost. Discord claims that Nitro members can access a rotating library of over 50 games on PC and Xbox consoles, with 10 hours of cloud gaming available to stream select titles without downloading.
Launch titles include Fallout 4, Stardew Valley, DayZ, Deep Rock Galactic, Grounded, and Overcooked 2. Discord also notes that more titles will be added to the Game Pass library periodically.
Hardware discounts and more orbs for Nitro subscribers
Discord has partnered with three gaming hardware brands to offer launch discounts through Nitro Rewards. Customers can get up to 30% off Logitech G gaming gear, up to 20% off KontrolFreek products, and up to 15% off SteelSeries headsets and accessories. The company plans to add more partners and rotating offerings over time. These discounts apply to a variety of products including gaming mice, keyboards, headsets, and controllers.
Nitro members will now earn 250 Orbs each month simply by keeping their subscription active. An orb multiplier also increases the number of orbs obtained through regular missions for Nitro subscribers. These orbs can be used in the Discord Store to purchase profile cosmetics and other digital rewards.
What Discord Nitro Rewards adds to existing subscription
Previously, Nitro focused on Discord-specific features such as HD streaming, larger file uploads, custom profiles, animated emojis, and server improvements. Nitro Rewards extends these benefits beyond the platform to include game subscriptions and hardware discounts.
Discord describes Nitro Rewards as the start of a broader program, with additional partnerships expected throughout 2026.
