While video game adaptations on film or television are usually quite disappointing, an incredibly enjoyable outlier in recent years has been Fallout TV show that Amazon has been producing in collaboration with radioactive dust pastor Bethesda. Both Season 1 and Season 2 have been a huge hit among long-time fans of the franchise and newcomers to the series, and have managed to not onebut two IP resurgences.
In fact, it is no exaggeration to say that the record and top the charts The show has had a phenomenal reception and now everyone is eagerly awaiting the next chapter of the story that comes with season 3. The third season has reportedly just started filming and is expected to arrive in late 2027 or early 2028.

Paul was nothing short of fantastic in Breaking Bad and El Camino, to the point where Jesse Pinkman became my favorite character out of all the incredibly written individuals on that series. I also loved him in almost everything I’ve seen him in, so I’m excited to see what role he plays in Fallout.
Some fans speculate that he could play Courier 6, the title of the playable character you control in Obsidian Entertainment’s fan-favorite 2010 title. Fallout: New Vegas; Personally, this seems unlikely to me since The showrunners have stated that they do not want to infringe on player choices with their story.and making Courier 6 a defined character would somehow go against that. Unless the character makes a brief cameo, I’m not watching it.
In the end, we don’t have any details to work with, so any predictions are pure guesswork. Still, I’m sure Paul will do an amazing job on which role he is playing, given his talent. I look forward to seeing you in Fallout Season 3 and can’t wait for it to arrive in the next year and a half or so.
Oh, and a fun fact: Aaron Paul is a big fan of video games and has previously talked about his love for franchises like resident Evil and Halo. He also had a lead role in the 2025 narrative adventure game Dispatch and has expressed interest in other gaming roles as well.
