welcome to Featured Standalone App. This is a weekly 9to5Mac series where we showcase the latest apps in the world of standalone apps. If you are a developer and want your app to appear, get in contact.
Mood tracking apps can be really important and helpful, whether you want to be more mindful or need to track for your therapist. That said, many apps charge a subscription, lack depth, or don’t have everything you might need. Internal pulse aims to solve that, while keeping privacy at the center.
Main features
First of all, Internal pulse It has a native user interface, which adopts the Liquid Glass design language of iOS 26.
In the app, you can track your mood on a scale from 0 to 10 and it supports over 85 mood factors where you can choose what made your day good or bad. Then, from that data, it takes into account what tends to make you feel the way you do. You can select factors based on sleep, nutrition, work, exercise, social, digital, self-care, health, environment, and finances. You can also write some additional notes if you wish.
Beyond your daily mood, Internal pulse It also supports detailed questionnaires if you are facing anxiety or depression, including the PHQ-9, GAD-7, K10, and PHQ-4 surveys. These are just screening tests, so they are not conclusive, but they help you keep track of yourself.
Then, with all this data, you can observe your trends over time and get a better idea of yourself or share them with medical professionals.
Download the application
Internal pulse is available in the app store for $4.99. It is a one-time purchase, without ads or subscriptions. You will need an iPhone or iPad running iOS 18.6 or later.
