While we have yet to get clean renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, a new leak shows Samsung’s official cases and, in turn, some of the stunning colors that come with these new foldables.
New images published by Android Headlines show Samsung’s official cases for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 “Ultra,” and Flip 8. The report itself refers to the Fold 8 in a strange way, referring to the “Ultra” as the new, larger form factor. despite plenty of reports and leaks suggesting otherwiseand using the “Fold 8 Wide” branding that has also been displaced in dozens of leaks.
Regardless of that, the images themselves tell us quite a bit.
We can see that as Samsung continues to stubbornly avoid actual Qi2 magnets, at least some of its official cases are Qi2-ready with magnets for the wireless charging lineup. If the Galaxy S26 was anything to go by, most of the Samsung line probably supports this. There are also cases with art by Esther Kim, Joker, and Kakao Corp, but it’s unclear if they will be sold in all regions.
There’s even a new aramid fiber shell with a pop of color instead of the typical single-color design.
But what is it? far The most interesting thing here is that the transparent cases (and the camera cutouts on the other cases) show off the colors of Samsung’s new foldables, which we haven’t really seen until now.
The colors we can see here include:
Galaxy Z Fold 8 ‘Ultra’ (the boring one)
- Dark Purple/Burgundy
- white/silver
- Black/gray

Galaxy Z Fold 8 (the width)
- Lavender
- white/silver
- Black/gray
Notably, the aramid fiber case appears to lack a front half on both Fold 8 models, but most cases lack a front half on the wider form factor.

Galaxy Z Flip 8
- Pink
- while/silver
- Black/gray

Although there are probably more colors. Previous leaks mentioned shades of green for each device: “Green Shadow” for Fold 8 Ultra, “Pistachio” for Fold 8 and “Mint” for Flip 8, while blue, pink and warm white They were shown in another leak (which we have edited and posted below). However, “pistachio” is missing, so take them with a grain of salt.
So far, everything lines up with what these cases show, but there is clearly more in the works.
While they’re not particularly vibrant, there are some really good options here. I especially like that deep purple color of the Fold 8 Ultra and am a little bothered that it doesn’t seem to be coming to a larger form factor.
What do you think?
