As of Wednesday morning (PT), the Gemini app is facing an outage for some users.
In the past few hours, Gemini app users have seen “Something went wrong 1099 or 1076” error messages. Another example of this interruption is entering a message and having Gemini put it back into the text box. By tapping Enter again, the message may work.
This outage extends to the Gemini app on the web, Android, iOS, and macOS, as well as Gemini on Chrome.
On the workspace side (Gemini side panel), this problem arose around 3:30 a.m. PT.
Josh Woodward of Google provided an update at 10:31 am PT about how “Gemini is currently experiencing an outage. We are on it and will get everything back as soon as possible. Some of the fixes are already available, the rest will be coming very soon.”
