To celebrate Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday, you’ll find a very special Easter egg featuring some of the biggest species of flora, fauna and bugs on Google Search.
One of the biggest Easter eggs for one of the most famous naturists of all time, Google Search is adorned with a big tribute to Sir David Attenborough if you’re looking for one of Britain’s greatest exports.
The London-born presenter has received virtually every honor that can be bestowed, but on his centenary, this is yet another tribute that very few can claim. The voice of wildlife and one of the biggest animal advocates on the planet, it will be a tough baton to deliver as there is nothing like a BBC documentary narrated by Sir David.
When you search for the station of the same name and voice of wildlife documentaries for the best part of 60 years, you will see a huge “Thank you, Sir David” note featuring animals made famous by many of their exploits in all corners of the world. Gorillas, penguins, crustaceans and even a blue whale or two may show up ready to party with party hats, cupcakes and some gifts to mark the occasion.
Not limited to just the homepage and Google Search, YouTube has compiled a list of the 10 most viewed BBC Earth videos, all narrated by Sir David himself. Personally I prefer the 6-hour supercut of his most iconic moments that you can see here. Happy birthday, Mr. David. You have been the voice of several generations.
