We’re in for Google’s next Pixel Drop, and thanks to some early announcements, we now know that Screen Reactions and some Gemini Omni-powered features will be part of this upcoming update.
The latest pixel drop It was in March 2026 and, according to Google’s usual schedule, we’re actually a little behind schedule for the next one. But it looks like we’re going to get it. pretty soon.
The people of droid life I came across Google ads targeting Amazon that revealed “Music Generation” and “Screen Reactions” as part of the upcoming Pixel Drop update. These videos appear on Amazon and have appeared in the last few days, but have not appeared anywhere else.
All three feature the “Pixel Drop” branding that Google rolled out in March, with previous batches being called “Pixel Feature Drop.”

The only new feature here, technically, is screen reactions. Google first showed this feature in The Android show in Mayand it is now available in the latest beta of Android 17 QPR1. According to this videohowever, we will have it soon on Pixel phones, which are presumably getting the stable version of Android 17 with this Drop.
The Gemini Omni videos are a bit strange, as both are already available to Pixel users with a paid Gemini subscription. However, it wouldn’t be the first time Google has included Gemini features in a Pixel Drop.
He first video He specifically highlights the musical generation with the example of asking Gemini to create a country song to “tell my roommate to stop eating my ice cream.”
He final video is more generic for the Gemini Omni generations, including the ability to use multiple media types to create a video, with the final ad to show that everything is “on your Pixel.”
There’s no date here but, as mentioned, we’re scheduled for the next Pixel Drop based on Google’s usual schedule. It is quite likely that we will see more in the coming days.
