Here’s a look inside Apple’s first developer center in Europe

Apple has announced that it will open Europe’s first Apple Developer Center later this year and has provided a sneak peek of the interior of the facility.

Located in Berlin, Germany, it will be the company’s fifth development center after CupertinoShanghai, Singapore and Bangalore…

The centers are designed to provide developers with training programs and hands-on support from Apple experts.

This new center will offer developers across Europe even greater access to Apple experts and events, and a more direct way to learn about the latest Apple tools, technologies and resources.

“Europe is home to an extraordinary community of developers creating apps that create connections, foster creativity and drive innovation,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations. “We’ve always believed that when developers have the right tools and resources to do their best work, amazing things happen. That belief is what this hub is built on, and we look forward to seeing what the community continues to develop.”

The company says workshops and one-on-one sessions will be offered for those at every stage of app development and for businesses of all sizes, from a single person on up.

Apple also has a global network of 19 Apple Developer Academies that provide long-term training to selected candidates.

There’s no word yet on when the Berlin Center will open, but you can see additional photos or renderings below. While it mostly looks like a very elegant space, the classroom seems inexplicably basic…
