Apple releases iPadOS 27 Developer Beta 1, here’s what to expect
Following its WWDC keynote, Apple has released the first beta versions of its newly introduced new software updates.
iPadOS 27 developer beta 1 is now available.
iPad users who are willing to risk bugs and performance issues can go to Settings ⇾ General ⇾ Software Update to install the beta software. Just make sure the iPadOS 27 developer beta is selected under “Beta Updates.”
As with all beta software, it is not recommended to install iPadOS 27 on your primary device.
That said, if you’re interested in testing out the latest iPad features well before its public release this fall, today’s iPadOS 27 beta is the way to do it.
If you’re okay with waiting a while for a more stable beta, Apple will release the first public beta of iPadOS 27 next month, likely in early July.
Typically, the first public beta is a much more secure and stable version than Apple’s first developer releases.
