Pixel Drop also marks the arrival of Bubbles, Google’s take on Samsung-style floating app windows. While you can only see one bubble at a time, this makes it easy to quickly access an app (like a browser or navigation tool) without switching tasks or having to deal with a cluttered split-screen view. On the foldable Pixels, you’ll also get a bubble bar that helps organize those quick apps.
Google also caters to everyone who likes to create TikTok-style (or YouTube Shorts-style) reaction videos. Now you can record selfie videos directly to screen recordings on any Android 17 phone, so you won’t need another app to go viral.
