It has long been rumored that Apple has a new high-end MacBook Coming soon this fall.
Originally, it was expected to be a completely redesigned MacBook Pro. But more recently, rumors have surfaced indicated Instead, it could be an all-new ‘MacBook Ultra’.
Report by Mark Gurman in Bloomberg This week he strongly supports the latter, while adding that a new MacBook Pro is also on the way.
Today Gurman reported that the all-new design touchscreen MacBook will run M5 Pro and M5 Max chips and will be “positioned at the top of Apple’s lineup.”
Including the exact same chips that the MacBook Pro received months ago seems to provide further support for this being a new and distinct ‘MacBook Ultra’ line.

Apple has tested the M6 chip as part of an updated entry-level MacBook Pro, codenamed J804, that was planned for this year.
That detail was part of a larger article explaining that Apple plans to skip the M6 Pro and M6 Max chips to speed up the high-end M7 chips.

- MacBook Ultra with touchscreen, OLED, new design and M5 Pro and M5 Max chips
