Apple has shared a first look at Nido de Villanas, a tongue-in-cheek Mexican microdrama filmed entirely on an iPhone 17 Pro, which is now available as 14 Shorts on YouTube.
‘Four women, one inheritance, no mercy’
Apple’s YouTube channel has published a first-look video inviting users to watch Villanas’ Nest, a microdrama filmed entirely with the iPhone 17 Pro, as part of the company’s long program. Filmed with iPhone Campaign.
The first look explains the basic premise of Nido de Villanas: “a microdrama full of ambitions, secrets and betrayals, where four women are willing to do anything to claim the Iturribiaga fortune.”
Consisting of 14 short films of approximately 2 minutes each, Nest of Villains highlights many of the iPhone 17 Pro’s camera features, including action mode, 8x optical quality zoom, slow motion, focus adjustments, and more.
With over-the-top plot twists, heightened acting, dramatic soundtrack and sound effects, and over-the-top camera work, Nido de Villanas is a fun parody of classic Mexican soap operas while also serving as a showcase for the iPhone 17 Pro’s camera capabilities.
