after revealing the first gameplay trailer for Persona 4: Revival to the Xbox Games Showcase June 2026Atlus decided to launch an explosive advertisement that Person Fans have been waiting for a decade since Persona 5 launched for PlayStation 3 in 2016.
Persona 6 is finally in development, as confirmed by a new trailer released by Atlus during the show that reveals the game will release on Xbox Series|Yes and Xbox Game Pass with Play Xbox anywhere support, PlayStation 5and PC via Steam.
It is now also available to wishlist on xbox platforms.

Other than that, we know little about Persona 6 in this trailer, other than it will likely be the darkest entry in the series to date.
It’s a dark, eerie trailer filled with all sorts of nightmarish imagery that suggests this game plans to explore the series’ overarching theme of self-discovery and incarnating ‘people’ to take the world to its horrifying extremes.
Either way, I’m very happy to finally see a new main Persona game being created after dealing with Persona 5 spin-offs for years.
No offense to Persona 5: Royalsince it is one of my favorites Xbox JRPGBut it’s time for us to leave the Phantom Thieves behind and explore a new environment with original characters to shout “PERSON” while balancing school life with dungeon exploration and turn-based battles against shadows.
