
Apple TV has added another award to For many‘ growing list of wins, and the series took home a Gotham Television Award tonight. Here are the details.
Pluribus wins again
Tonight, the Gotham Film & Media Institute announced the winners of this year’s Gotham Television Awards.
Apple TV had six nominations in total, including:
- For many: Breakthrough Drama Series, Best Lead Performance in a Drama Series (Rhea Seehorn), Best Supporting Performance in a Drama Series (Karolina Wydra)
- Margo has money problems: Best Lead Performance in a Comedy Series (Elle Fanning), Best Supporting Performance in a Comedy Series (Michelle Pfeiffer)
- Mr. Scorsese: Innovative nonfiction series
Once the ceremony was over, Apple took home a trophy, with For many Winning innovative drama series.
As for the rest of the nominations:
- The groundbreaking non-fiction series went to ‘Katrina: Come Hell and High Water’
- Best Leading Performance in a Comedy Series went to Tim Robinson (‘The chair company‘)
- Best Leading Performance in a Drama Series went to Chase Infiniti (‘The wills‘)
- Best Supporting Performance in a Comedy Series went to Laurie Metcalf (‘Big Mistakes’)
- Best Supporting Performance in a Drama Series went to Babou Ceesay (‘Extraterrestrial: Earth‘)
With today’s prize, For many has now reached 11 awards in total, including a Golden Globe, a Critics Choice Award, an AFI Award and two Saturn Awards, among others.
