Samsung has increased the prices of several smartphones and tablets sold in the United States. The price changes affect higher storage options for some smartphones and all storage configurations for the tablet line. Samsung has not given an official explanation for the price increase.
The recent increases follow a similar increase in prices for higher storage configurations in the Galaxy Z Fold 7, announced last week.
Samsung’s new price increases in the US
Smartphone price increases mainly affect greater storage options, while basic models remain the same. Confirmed changes include:
- Galaxy Z Flip 7 with 512GB, now $1,299.99, down from $1,219.99
- Galaxy S25 FE with 256GB is up to $749.99 from $709.99
- The Galaxy S25 Edge with 512GB has increased by $80 to reach $1,299.99.
Tablet price changes
Tablet price increases now apply to all storage options, not just high-end models. Confirmed changes include:
- Galaxy Tab S11 128GB, up from $799.99 to $899.99
- Galaxy Tab S10 FE, up from $50 to $549.99
- Galaxy Tab A11 Plus also saw a $50 price tag
- Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has seen increases of more than $200.
Why Samsung is raising prices
