Samsung’s solution for apps with “excessive” advertising is already being implemented

Samsung’s Device Care is releasing an update, alongside its main OS patch, that finally introduces an addition we saw rumored months ago.

Ahead of the weekend, insider Kailash reported that Samsung had started rolling out an update for Device Care (via SammyGuru). According to their post, users should soon encounter version 13.8.80.7, which brings an old rumored “Block apps with excessive ads” feature. This feature was rumored during Samsung’s presentation. A user interface 8.5 tests. There were some aspects of this that remained in doubt; however, the tipster’s screenshots now show us in full.
